Vulture Cycles CHaRM Recycling Pick-up Pilot!

Our sister bike based business, Vulture Cycles of Let Us Compost, is running it's pick up service for hard to recycle materials, like film plastic bags, batteries, styrofoam, old shoes, old clothes, printer cartridges...all kinds of things that our AMAZING municipal single stream recycling can't handle. The goal of the county solid waste management is to decrease our landfill volume by 75% in the coming years, and we are so proud to be able to get to work on this effort! Let Us Compost has a KICKSTARTER campaign going o right now to support this work, so please visit the page and donate to this effort!
The CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) Vulture Cycle customers can participate on a subscription basis and also through drop off events. Subscribers receive a bin to collect recyclables, then all they have to do it schedule a pick up and put it out on the curb. Vulture Cyclists will ride to their house, pick up the batch and take it to the CHaRM facility.

We talked about direct action, political science, solar power, local activism, bike power, compost and our common love for Earth inspiring our mojo to get creative/get real/get to work on the climate crisis!! Thanks you guys so much for spending time with me, and letting me ramble off my nervousness!
